soooo I had to look this one up, and ...apparently a dullahan is a type of unseelie fae. they're headless and prefer to carry their wide-mouthed evil grinning head under one arm while they ride around on black horses. also apparently they have whips made of human spines, and they ride around the country side telling people when they're going to die. when they say your name, you're next!
this was a super-quick sketch, but I at least captured the rough idea of the dern thing.
